Day Twenty-six of the Tabata Fitness Challenge:

Day Twenty-six and today’s tabata is a choice again, either one combo tabata of squats and side lunges, or two tabatas one of squats and one of side lunges, right after the other with a short break of somewhere between 30 seconds and 2 minutes.   The whole workout should take less than 10 minutes! If you do one tabata, do 20 seconds of squats followed by 10 seconds of rest, then 20 seconds of side lunges followed by 10 seconds of rest and do that 4 times total for 4 minutes.  If you do two tabatas, do 20 seconds of squats followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 repetitions for a total of 4 minutes. Then take a short break somewhere a between 30 seconds to 2 minutes long.  Then do 20 seconds of side lunges followed by 10 seconds of rest for 8 repetitions for a total of 4 minutes.  I will post proper form guides on the thrivebloomington facebook page.
