May 16 Movement Moment

May 16 and our Saturdays are full of work tasks so remember to be present of your  body and give yourself credit for all the ways you move naturally today as you go to market, work in your yard, go places with your kids or clean your house.  But for our movement moment today we will do a tabata of one legged lunges.  Get in front of a chair or couch somewhere you can put your left leg up on the chair and have your right leg far enough away from the chair that you can bend you leg without getting your knee out beyond your toes.  Do as many right one legged lunges as you can in 20 seconds, then rest 10 seconds; switch legs during the rest time and do as many left one legged lunges as you can in 20 seconds, then rest 10 seconds; Do 8 rounds (20 sec work, 10 sec rest) total and four rounds for each side for a total of 4 minutes.  Hello gluts and quads!  Have a wonderful Saturday
