Today’s movement is rest. Maybe you think I am silly or lazy, but truly, I know that real rest is the secret to strength, fitness and good health. We are all so busy and are lives are so full, we don’t always rest fully. Without a moment of rest, we can’t heal properly or recover from exertion. Make rest a joy by choosing an activity that makes resting seem exquisite…a nap, watching a funny show, a long bath or shower, a gentle walk in woods, a meal someone else prepared, a great book that you don’t need to read…. anything that lets you unwind. Be good to yourself today. Fitness and health for me mean balance. Resting is part of the equation.
