Today we want to focus on rest. We seek the kind of rest that is restorative to our whole body and to our health. What kind of rest do you need? More sleep, a nap perhaps? Or do you need a rest from electronics? Do you need the rest of some real hard fun… which might include using your body…something like a hike or swim or dance? Do you need to meditate? Do you need to “veg out’ and watch some t.v. ? Do you need hang out times with your best buds? Do you need the rest of listening to music? Maybe you need the shot in the arm of live music. Only you really know what you need. Take a moment to check in and do what feels right to you. I saw a cute quote the other day that said “everything works better if you turn it off sometimes, including you.” My hope for you is that you choose a form of rest that fills your spirit with hope and your body with energy!
