Today was one of those days where I woke up feeling kinda crappy with a headache, and proceeded to have all kinds of minor things go wrong: dead battery, a stuck hood, a parking ticket, and lots of broken glass. It also ended up being one of those days were I can really witness that I have been taking better care of myself because I was able to keep feeling positive even as the outer circumstances where not falling in my favor. I had a good day despite all the not feeling good and the minor delays and frustrations. When we do the habits that help us feel healthy and good we are showing ourselves care. Showing ourselves care and showing up for ourselves the way we show up for others that we love in our lives is a way of believing in ourselves. I think it is especially good to believe in yourself even if you aren’t feeling the magic that day. That is the day you need your love the most. So today I tried to experience my emotions without beating myself up. I tried to stay kind to myself. Our be kind workout of the day is 5 exercises of 50 repetitions each: squats, front lunges, jumping jacks, high knees, bicycle abdominal crunches. Those of you who want a bit more can repeat. And however you feel and however your day goes, I hope you can believe in yourself and be kind.
