Today I am alive and that is precious. It is easy to forget in a world that can be incredibly cruel and unfair. But my life is a gift and I want to receive the present. Feeling agile and strong in my body makes being alive much more fun! Today we will celebrate the weekend by warming up with a dance. Put on your favorite song that makes you want to move and dance like no one is watching. If you aren’t feeling the dance inspiration then do helicopter twists and jumping jacks alternating throughout the song. Then do a 1 minute or 60 second plank (you can do it, I bet!). Then do 20 squats, 20 fire hydrants, 20 donkey kicks, 20 side lunges, 20 bridges. If you have a kettlebell you can substitue 20 russian two handed swings, 20 deadlifts, 20 sidebends alternating, 20 goblet squats, 20 around the worlds. I am grateful for the amazing sunsets we have had lately. I love those moments of beauty that require you pay attention to them or you miss them. What are you grateful for today?
