December 22: Day 22 Squat & Plank Challenge

Day 22 , Squats 55 and 180 second plank!  This is a serious workout folks.  Remember this is a challenge….so you are supposed to stretch a bit beyond comfort. Yet the focus of our challenge is to create full empowered health and functional strength. So it is of the utmost importance that we listen to ourselves and remember we are the expert of our own bodies!! As the plank time increases make sure to respect your bodies limits. If you can’t do the whole time, do what you can. You can briefly rest and try to finish time or just stop where you are. Last night I made it through the plank but I was starting to feel like I couldn’t make it halfway through…I had to dig deep inside. Afterwards I felt so sleek, and accomplished. Today’s quote from the wise Joe DeCroes, “Nothing matures without a struggle.”
