December 28: Day 28 Squat & Plank Challenge

Day 28 of our challenge and realistically it is the last three and most challenging of the whole month.  Today is serious, 95 squats and 240 seconds of a squat which is 4 minutes.  Today I had to watch the Roots with Erykah Badu’s video of ” I Got You” which is 4 minutes and 36 seconds to get through my plank, so I let it start and at 4 minutes started my plank.  I barely made it, and I did have to switch from top of push up to front of elbow and then back to top of push up.  I made it but it felt like a real test.  I did do my squats straight through but I went slow and kept my form solid. Remember you can break the squats up into sets if you need. Even though this is hard, it doesn’t take much time, and that seems to work with the craziness of holiday schedules. Keep going, team Thrive, we are so close to being done.  Joe’s quote for today was inspired when a dear friend of his told him he was getting his gall bladder removed.  “Where is what’s killing your gall bladder going to go after they remove your gall bladder?”
