Day 30 Squat & Plank Challenge: We got this!

Today is the 30th day of our 30 day challenge, yes, that is right, we have made it! Today is the mountaintop of our goal: 100 Squats & a 300 second, or 5 minute, Plank!  Tough, but over quickly, and still such a full body and positive workout.  In terms of time investment, this is one of the best returns you can get.  Those of you who took your measurements should re-measure yourself after you finish today.  I think you will be pleased to have gotten through the holidays still holding it together and hopefully with everything more where you want it to be.  I struggled to do the 4 and a half minute plank.  I was about halfway through thinking whose dumb idea was this?  Really a 4 1/2 minute plank?! I dropped my knees twice but went right back into the plank.  It will be a small miracle if I hold the 5 minute plank today but I am going to give it my all.  I have enjoyed having a relatively easy way to quickly workout during this time that my mind is everywhere else.  I hope those of you have tried the challenge have benefited in more ways than one. I have kept re-posting the whole challenge so if you want to try it some other time on your own, you can do it whenever.  I personally wanted a challenge that kept the time commitment super low yet really tested and improved our whole fitness level.  Wow.  I think I choose wisely for those goals.  Tomorrow we will celebrate our success with a rest and play day!  But what is next for us?  Any suggestions as we head into the new year?  Here is Joe’s food for thought for us to chew on, ” You are not  a part of the universe.  You are the universe.
