Day 24 of our 29 days of tabatas and today we will do a tabata of leg lifts. Do 20 seconds of as many proper form leg lifts as you can, then rest 10 seconds for one set and complete 8 sets total for 4 minutes. For our leg lifts we lie on our backs on the floor, makimg sure that our head, legs, lower back, and bottom are all in contact with the floor. We will put our hands or a small towel under the curve of the lower back if needed to get back totally flat. Engage our stomach muscles to help keep our lower backs connected to the ground. Slowly lift our legs to a 90-degree angle, keeping our legs straight and not bending at the knees. Pause for a second, then slowly lower the legs back down, making sure to keep our lower backs on the floor at all times! When you finish you might do a bridge or two to stretch out your back.
