Todays self care activity is so fast and easy it is hard to believe how much better it makes you feel. To brush my body I bought a wooden handled shower brush with hard bristles. I brush my skin dry like I might brush a horse or cat or dog. I usually start gentle and increase my pressure as I go. I brush my skin towards the heart and over the belly, going clockwise in the direction of the intestines. Body brushing stimulates the skin to let go of all the dry skin cells and produce more new cells. It also stimulates the lymphatic system to flush out toxins. It feels good, and it makes your skin glow!
